My Favourite Kind of Restaurants: Cafes
One of my favourite cafes in situated right downtown. It is called Cafe Parvis and serves delicious dishes for brunch, lunch and dinner. The meals vary from bagels for brunch to pizzas and salads for dinner. They also have a large selection of decadent wines. One of the main reasons I love this location is the interior decor. It has a sort of rustic look to it while at the same time fancy and delicate. There are plants hanging a bit everywhere which makes it even nicer. In the summer, there is a terrasse which makes it one hundred times better. It is surrouded by beautiful flowers and plants which make for the meal to be that much better.
Cafe Gentile is a cafe that I've been hearing about for a long time, but I only recently went for the first time a couple weeks ago. It is already one of my favourites because of the amazing Italian food. They serve sandwiches, wraps, pasta and classic Italian desserts such as canolis. You are guaranteed to leave with a full stomach from this restaurant. One last thing that is great about this place is that they have take out. You can get anything that they offer to take and eat at home.
One of my favourite places to get a latte at with friends is Cafe Pista. Situated in Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie, it has a lovely green interior and serves brunch, pastries and of course coffee. I usually go for coffee, but in the summer, they have amazing home-made lemonade that I can't resist. This is a great place to study or simply to catch up with friends over brunch. I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone who likes a good drink with a lovely ambiance.
