A makeup brand that I came accross a bit over a year ago is now one of my all time favourites. This brand is named Glossier, and it was founded in New York City. Last summer, I was in NYC with a friend and we happened to pass by the headquarters where they also have a showroom where you can buy their products. Without hesitating, my friend Olivia and I went right into the building. My favourite product of their has to be their highlighter that they call Haloscope, which is an essential. It is super dewy and looks great on the skin. It gives a not-so subtle glow that makes your skin look moisturized and healthy.
One thing that I cannot live without is lip balm. I apply it every single night before bed and countless times during the day. I usually use Vaseline lip balm, but when Glossier came out with the Birthday Balmdotcom to celebrate the company's anniversary, I knew that I had to have it. A birthday cake flavoured lip balm? Who could resist! Even the packaging is super cute, and I would be lying if I said that packaging isn't a big seller for me... the visual aspect of the product is something that attracts me the most. If the packaging isn't pretty, I will most likely skip over it. Anyway back to this lip balm; it has an extremely smooth and glossy texture which is super moisturizing, and also has a bit of glitter in it which adds the final touch.
Another product by this brand that I am currently loving is their brow gel that they refer to as Boy Brow. Ever since the appearance of the British supermodel Cara Delevingne, large, bushy brows have been the go to brow style. No more eyebrow tweezing, trimming or threading. However, one must control their brows some way, and this is the perfect product for that. The spooly on it is quite small which allows the user to apply precisely where need be. There are four different shades available including a transparent one. I use this almost every day because my brows are quite light, so I like to add a bit of color, and this product also adds a bit of body and thickness to the brows.
